On entering our Parlor of our Nantucket Inn, the first thing you notice are the soaring, 12-foot-high ceilings and tall, shuttered windows. Stocked with magazines, maps and restaurant menus, the Parlor’s inviting oriel window seat and several comfy armchairs beckon you to sit and relax for a spell. Adjacent to the Parlor is the airy, sun-filled Dining Room where our Continental bed and breakfast buffet is set out each morning. The room is thoughtfully arranged with four separate tables seating from 2-4. Our Front Porch, elevated high above the sidewalks and furnished with tables and cushioned wicker love seat and rocking chair, is the perfect spot to unwind and watch the fascinating people parade. Hidden away in the rear of the property is a small, shaded Secret Garden with café table and chairs and a teak bench…ideal for a quiet read or conversation.
